Vintage 1940s or 50s velvet opera coat. Approx size Small. Silky soft REAL velvet, lining seems to be an ivory satin taffeta. Hood is unlined so sits very loosely and light and has an interesting gathered look. Puff sleeves. Some damage to coat: it’s missing 1 button and has some ribbed seems along sleeves inside and at back. Does not look like anything that cannot be fixed as there seems to no damage to fabric, just seems being ripped open. Found one exception, a small fingernail sized hole on lining on right arm.
