As there are no missiles I have not been able to test the firing mechanism. That stated, the mechanism can be heard engaging with a continual clicking when the Firing option is selected on the controller, so I have no reason to suspect that it is not working. Overall condition is used with a mild patina but very good for almost 60 years. Works fully in forward and reverse and the turret rotates through 360 degrees on the button. Tracks are excellent and all wheels are solid. I have noticed that the Turret Hatch on this piece is flush rather than the raised version that I have seen on other models. Not sure if this makes it earlier or later but it remains a superb, fully working example. Inside of the battery box is pristine.
