Clearing out lots of my belongings. This has been stored in the loft, unsure what my dad would’ve originally used it for, probably storing coins or his metal detecting finds. Ideal box for storing and displaying jewellery or crystals. The metal slats can be removed to make the sections bigger. It has a foam padded insert so items are cushioned. There is enough room to insert a sheet of perspex to display items. The case is secured by two Cheney drawbolt toggle latches which are in perfect working condition. The two rear hinges are also manufactured by Cheney, a British company established in 1856 in West Midlands. Anyone wishing to repair any vintage travel cases or suitcases and need original Cheney latches and hinges these are perfect.
