Edwardian black wool waistcoat, with contrasting lining, and black reverse. There are no materials labels indicating what the fabrics used are. The waistcoat features four front pockets, six button placket, and a cinch back to adjust the fit. Assume the buttons to brass, they have either “Gieves” or “Gaunt” on the reverse of them. No size label, or any internal labels. Measurements shown in photos. Listed as a 38” chest, which is because of the pit to pit measurement. Good vintage condition, there is some lint to the wool front, no missing buttons, discolouration to the internal white lining material (shown in photos), and some wear to the back belt / cinch material (shown in photos).
