Rare, early all-metal variant of the WWI US Baby Tank by the Animate Toy Company of New York, featuring the 1916 patent date stamped underneath. The iconic 'DRAW BACK SLOWLY, NEVER PUSH FORWARD' text is intact and clearly legible. Features the highly desirable stamped metal side guns rather than the fragile wooden dowels. General age-related wear, scratches and paint loss. Some surface rust/oxidation as expected for age. The internal mechanism is currently not working and feels stuck/frozen. I have not attempted to oil, clean, or force the mechanism to prevent damage. Sold as-is for display or restoration. Structurally solid with no major damage. (See photos for full condition)
