The TSR 1-2450 DC/DC Switching Regulator by TRACOPOWER is a reliable choice for replacing a faulty or aging 7805 in the Sinclair ZX Spectrum or other systems. It has a matching current rating of 1A and an output voltage rating of 5V as the factory 7805 regulator, but produces very little heat meaning the heatsink can be removed entirely, allowing your zx spectrum to run cooler. Each unit will be tested before dispatch and posted in an antistatic bag and foam for protection. You will need to desolder the old regulator and resolder the replacment.
