This is a rare, vintage handcrafted marionette string puppet, commonly referred to as the "White Lady" as based on Czech folklore traditions. It features a porcelain face, hande and legs with hand-painted details. The puppet is dressed in a traditional long white gown adorned with silver thread, lace, and matching shoes. It is operated from above using a wooden control bar and strings. Such puppets were often used for decorative purposes or in traditional marionette theatre.
