Matchbox MOY 1922 A.E.C. "S" Type Omnibus Y-23.This bus was built primarily for the London General Omnibus Co. By A.E.C. of Walthamstow London. It was basically a larger version of the "K" type (1919-1922).The "S"-type was a goods-coach passenger chassis powered by a J-type 4 cylinder 5.1 litre 35 h.p. side-valve petrol engine with a three speed gear box. It was equipped withrod operated fully manual brakes & worm and wheel rear axle.The seating capacity was 54. 24 downstairs and 30 upstairs. It was in service from 1922-1931. scale 1:72
