This suit was made for a production by Opera North. The trousers have a fishtail back, button fly, buttons for braces, two front and two rear pockets. The jacket has two lower pockets and one upper, no vent, a hint of a belted back and an unusual five button closure. Trousers are 36" waist, 31" inside leg with a 15" rise from crotch to waistband. The jacket is 42" chest, 17" from shoulder to shoulder, 34" from collar to hem and the sleeves are 27" from shoulder to cuff. The material is a lovely soft wool and the condition is very good.
