Louis Marx 'sparkling' futuristic space car - damaged/as found

This scarce hard plastic ‘sparkling’ futuristic space car was made in the U.S.A. by Louis Marx & Co. in the 1950s. It’s generally in fair condition although I believe it’s missing the clear plastic canopy from the cockpit.
