Here we have a gorgeous Hofner 456 Archtop guitar from 1964. It’s in good condition and plays superbly. Had refret by Steve Toon, the renowned guitar maker. The neck joint is solid and the guitar holds tune very well. As is common with Hofners, the nut width is narrower than modern guitars but the neck is slightly chunkier. It’s perfectly setup and is easy to play all the way up the fretboard. Later tuners fitted and Schaller pickup is an addition. This is the non export model rather than the Selmer UK versions. My understanding is that it’s a better quality instrument. Comes with a good solid case and will be well wrapped prior to shipping. So all in all great jazz box! Thanks for looking!
