A very fine set of brass and bone guitar tuners from the mid to late 19th century. These are well made, the brass plate is much thicker than that of most late 19th century manufactured guitar tuners. The decorative patterns look like they have been engraved or punched by hand rather than etched. They have the much less common 30mm pole spacing. The brass needs polishing but other than that they are fully functional and turn smoothly. They were from an early 19th century romantic guitar, but were not at all original to that guitar nor a good match. Open to offers
