This lovely fun early antique tri-level marble is decorated with three layers of work, from the solid core, through the pretty rods of applied colours, and the final fine line exterior decor. It has a neat and well defined style; and dates from between 1860 - 1880; with a hand-faceted pontil indicating production during this early period of the German cane glass marble industry.
