Here we have a first issue 25h Dinky streamlined fire engine dating from around 1936. The first issue did not have a baseplate so the casting doesn’t have the little ledges in the recesses to support one. Of course it has the smooth hubs, thin axles and axle holes. This example came to me with a later ladder. I have sourced an original ladder and bell so it’s now complete. Rare for one of these , there’s no fatigue in the body only the hubs. There’s even a trace of the pencilled price inside it. A good set of mellow looking tyres sets it off. Paint wear but a nice early Dinky. Always happy to combine postage
