'Coreless Swirl' Marble. An attractive handmade Coreless Swirl with a ground pontil dating it from 1880 to 1920. They usually have an open, light-filled character with a 'coreless' base matrix of clear or translucent coloured glass; and a layer of bands on the exterior.
