The PLS100N is the chip that was fitted to the original 64 before Commodore de-lidded it and basically copied the internals to make their own version, the 906114-01. It is NOT suitable for the later C64C systems with the "Shortboard" PCB - this doesn't have the PLA or 906114-01 chip fitted.
