Antique black velvet vest. Ukraine, circa 1900. Hand-embroidered on black velvet; the craftswoman meticulously embroidered the fabric, like a painting. Everything is very beautiful and feminine... and the interesting lining is pleasant to the touch. A "kamizelka" is a short, sleeveless, collarless garment worn over a shirt or blouse. This garment can be part of a woman's attire. Dimensions: chest 88 cm, waist 80 cm, length 64 cm. In good antique condition.
