The Strat-o-matic 1966 original team cards for World Series Champion Baltimore Orioles. This vintage set was produced and purchased in 1967 and thus contains "blank" reverse sides. The Orioles four-game sweep of the Dodgers provided the 67-year-old franchise its first championship. Frank Robinson (HOF) won the Triple Crown and the AL MVP. Other future Hall of Famers, Brooks Robinson, Luis Aparicio, and Jim Palmer, played instrumental roles throughout the regular season and Series. Boog Powell added 34 home runs. As the photo shows, the cards are generally well preserved, but some show minor flaws. The Luis Aparicio card is discolored. A 1966 Topps Sam Bowens card serves as a model of the Orioles uniform.
