This is the 3-tone Olds Special with a nickel silver bell, copper bell flare, and lacquered brass trimming. Most of the lacquer has worn off making this a mostly raw finish horn. This trumpet also has an adjustable 3rd slide ring, mother-of-pearl finger buttons, traditional lever style water keys and fancy ribbon bell engraving which reads "OLDS SPECIAL F.E. OLDS & SON FULLERTON CALIF." Serial number is 407XXX indicating that it was manufactured in 1962 when quality was top notch at the Olds plant.
